The First Tee of Augusta depends on volunteers. We expanded our service area to include Richmond, Columbia, Burke and McDuffie Counties and are in need of volunteers to help us reach more participants. You don’t have to be a golfer to volunteer, just passionate about making a positive impact in the live of young people.
MAKE AN IMPACT ON THE COURSE
Coaches play a major role in creating a great First Tee experience for participants. “Young people don’t care what a coach knows until they know a coach cares.” If you are passionate about working with young people, fun, energetic, play golf or are willing to learn the basics of the game, consider becoming an Assistant Coach. Assistant Coaches work closely with a Lead Coach to deliver the golf and life skills classes. If you are interested, complete the online Volunteer Application. We will contact you to discuss the opportunity. Completion of a background screening and The First Tee online Assistant Coaches Training are also required. Note that great Assistant Coaches are considered to become Lead Coaches. Are you a PGA or LPGA professional? This is a great way to satisfy your Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
