Our Facility

The First Tee of Augusta was established in 2001 as a junior golf and life skills learning center.  The facility is staffed by an Executive Director, certified The First Tee Coaches, additional staff and trained volunteers.  The facility is located on 40-acres and offers a beautiful 6-hole golf course, a driving range, chipping green, full service golf shop and a snack bar. First Tee – Augusta welcomes public play, corporate outings, team building outings, clinics and tournaments, especially on weekdays when First Tee participants are in school.  Although First Tee – Augusta is open for public play, youth programming is the first priority.  Areas of the facility may be closed during golf and life skills programming. Call ahead to confirm availability.

  • Sign in at the Front Desk – ALL golfers and guests must sign-in at the front desk before proceeding to the golf course.
  • Play ONE ball – Do not play a second ball unless your first ball cannot be found.
  • Play on Pace – The average time to playing a 6-hole round at First Tee – Augusta is 1hr 15 minutes.  That equates to 12-15 minutes per hole.  After 15 minutes playing a hole, please pick up your ball and advance to the next hole.
  • Rake Bunkers – If your ball goes in the sand, enter the bunker on the LOW side, rake your footprints and balls imprint as you back out.  Exit the bunker on the LOW side.
  • Keep Cart on Cart Path – The only exception is on holes #3 and #5 where the cart path does not run the full distance of the hole. Note that golf carts are not permitted in the parking lot or on the driving range.
  • Respect the Lightning Alarm – If lighting is in the area, a LOUD alarm will sound.  STOP PLAYING, come in from the course, range and practice area and return to the golf shop immediately.  Golfers are safe to resume play after the ALL CLEAR which is three consecutive sounds of the alarm.  In the event the all clear does not sound, a Raincheck will be issued at the front desk.
